Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, I’ve always been the girl with:
1.    Her own sense of style
2.    Tons of self-esteem
3.    A big personality 
4.    A penchant for living BIGGER and GREATER! 

I was raised by my single mother that walked, talked, and moved with the grace of a Hollywood star and by my grandmother who taught me strength, life lessons, and the importance of prayer! It was not by coincidence that I would grow up with many of their qualities. We show up in style, can relate to just about anyone, will pray you silly, can make one dollar turn into ten and we love to laugh! I am a mother, wife, sister, friend, life coach, dream chaser, purpose pusher, prayer warrior, and fashionista. All these things define who I am as a girl boss!

My desire to become a woman that creates and tries it all began in college while pursuing a degree. During my Junior Year, I wanted to franchise a pizzeria for the upcoming and newly-built football stadium. After realizing that I didn’t have what it takes (experience nor the funds), I settled my talents on what GOD blessed me with, and that was a talent for applying makeup. After seeing my own cosmetics line in a dream one night, I went after my goals. In 2003, I created my cosmetics line and the dream building became bigger from there. Shortly after, I started a shoe company (Sole Sista Shoes) and an eyewear company (Shade E Sistas). FineHERthings is the mother of all of my companies. It’s a “one-stop” shop for ALL things convenient and ALL things finer. We are a couture company for the budget diva, and we provide empowerment on a dime!
